Melbourne Metro Public Realm and Urban Design
HASSELL is currently seeking an Architect or Landscape Architect who is keen to help us deliver the key public streetscape and external urban CBD spaces in the Melbourne metro project.
The Melbourne Metro project includes the design and delivery of 5 new streetscape precincts. These precincts will steer a new direction in the shape and character of the Melbourne CBD. We are looking for someone to help our team develop the design, and document these spaces.
The successful applicant will be required develop, test and coordinate conceptual design challenges as well translate them in documentation drawings. A natural strength in detailed design resolution must be evident in the applicant’s portfolio.
We are looking for a talented Designer who is;
_Passionate about design and create strong public realm outcomes
_Interested in high quality streetscape / urban detailing and delivery
_Effectively collaborates with others and is able to share information
_Relishes working in a team environment
Key skills and experience:
_Qualification in Architecture and Landscape Architecture
_Optimally 3-5 years post-graduate experience
_Revit experience (but not essential)
_Infrastructure/complex urban realm project experience highly desirable
_Experience in streetscapedelivery
_Confident in putting forward new ideas and in developing design concept with others
_Detail design and documentation skills and experience
_Effectively collaborates with others
_Rigorous approach to detail
