Looking for a play specialist to hit the ground running!
Polygon LA has experienced rapid growth since its foundation in 2015, specialising in the design of distinct nature play spaces for day care centres and kindergartens. We have recently moved from the Melbourne CBD to a larger office space in Northcote.
We are currently looking for a qualified landscape architect with a very specific skillset to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful applicant will have experience in designing play spaces for young children, specifically with nature play and bespoke, sculptural play features. As many of our clients are ongoing there will be a significant level of client management and relationship building, as well as the usual expectation of exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work across multiple projects at once with minimal supervision.
It should be anticipated that this role would have an influence on the future shaping of the organisation.
The role will involve the production of landscape architectural designs and detailing with a particular emphasis on children's playgrounds. The role will liaise directly with clients, contractors and relevant stakeholders and efficiently delegate work with other team members to develop, document and administer projects. The successful candidate will have exceptional communication skills and the ability to work well both with a team and autonomously as we do offer flexible working arrangements.
