About the Role:
This temporary three year full time position is responsible for the planning design and project management of significant public projects with complex urban design, landscape, environmental and heritage issues. Projects will range from strategic studies to detailed urban elements, and typically include all project phases: initiation, development design and delivery. This role will focus on the design phase of project delivery.
On a daily basis you will manage collaborative, design led processes that integrate planning, project management and stakeholder engagement seamlessly to deliver optimum outcomes for Council aligned with Council’s Major Priorities and Strategic Objectives.
About the Person:
The successful candidate will have extensive operational experience in a related field (typically eight years plus) demonstrating senior roles in successful design delivery for public domain projects. This role will suit a person who has high level problem solving skills, developed project management experience, is organised, proactive and enjoys being busy. You will think strategically, work collaboratively and have a passion for delivering high quality community infrastructure.
